High frequency price feeds
I've been publishing price feeds for Hertz every 6 seconds, which means I publish a price feed every second Bitshares block. In the future I'll try to increase the frequency to a price feed published in every block. At the time of submitting this post, the hertz-feed account has produced 834,157 transactions (approx 14400 tx/day) thus far & is funded for another year at current rates.

Don't get me wrong I certanily appreciate the initiative but I still struggle to understand the need or use case of such type of asset.
It's primarily an experiment, this type of asset hasn't existed before. There will likely be subsequent ABAs which introduce improvements such as amplitude reflecting bts:reference_asset amplitude|variance.
If you read the whitepaper it explains some potential uses and trading patterns, buy low sell high then short high buy low, repeat. Not financial advice though, please do your own research ;D

Well there's limited volatility in Hertz, as it oscillates between $0.86 and $1.14. The price of BTS is certainly volatile though.
I think buying right now is a great plan
