Why I Look at YZY Differently From Other Memecoins

in #bitget21 days ago

Most people see YZY as just another “meme token” boosted by Kanye West’s hype. I see it a bit differently.

The token was actually designed to have a real utility: serving as the official currency for payments on the Yeezy website. In other words, it’s not just a trending ticker, but an asset that could be integrated into a globally recognized e-commerce flow.

What stood out to me is that Bitget was the first Tier-1 exchange to structure the entry into YZY: deposits open, live trading, and a CandyBomb campaign. For me, that removes a lot of noise and makes it possible to approach this token differently than just another risky on-chain bet.

Will it do a 10x tomorrow? Nobody can say. But if we focus on the fundamentals (brand adoption, real utility, community effect), I think the potential will rely much more on integration and usage than on short-term speculation.

What do you think? Could YZY become an example of a memecoin with real utility, or will it remain just another celebrity-driven narrative?
