We all saw it coming, but I thought they'd have at least another few months in the tank. I guess it's the 'Cease and desist' letters from the UK and U.S.A. that must have done it.

I think it was those cease and desists too, but it may also be that the owners of Bitconnect thought things got too heated.. and perhaps executed some exit strategy instead of closing down 'peacefully'? With all the people unable to withdraw and all
I tried to find out who the owners were a few months back after reading a really good article that highlighted how bad it was and that they were UK based. Found nothing then, but perhaps someone found out who they are and they've realised that billions of investor's money stolen = billions of investors with a serious axe to grind!
Will be watching closely as this will be very interesting to see how it plays out. Hopefully it's not too sad though as it has been breaking my heart to see all the YouTube advertisements. No good having all the lambos in the world when some scammers tricked you into being the face behind the biggest scam in history!
