So does only the miner who solves the equation get the coin? Or are there multiple equations for each coin so multiple miners can get a piece of the action on each coin mined?

      yup exactly multiple players try to solve this transaction they all get their share depending on how fast u mine.... it depend upon hashrate/sec faster ur computer faster the hash rate and more reward u get
