RE: 7/17/17 Breaking news! Dollar Vigilante Jeff Berwick shooting for his third consecutive 30% drop! This time with a buy call!

I tried to post this spew at 9:15 AM EST but steemit wants me to "power up!"

This is a bandwidth issue. Basically, it means that you're voting and posting too much with a very small amount of STEEM Power. It's like a protective measure against spamming attacks from non-invested parties. If you reduce the size and frequency of your posting and the frequency of your voting - or wait for your payouts to get you more SP - you shouldn't run into this problem.

Most of these issues are likely due to the recent price drop.

Oh, so just upvote with my upvotes that are worth zero. How many times do I have to click the button to not have to deal with bs? I'll do up to 100 upvotes per day. Here's number 1 for today. See if you can get to the "higher up's" and get a more definitive answer. My horly rate is normally $100+...I'm not going to waste the cost of lunch upvoting all day. Do you realize how difficult it is to find good content here? :-)

No. The goal is to upvote less - until you have earned more STEEM Power/Mvests, which will allow more bandwidth use.

Voting frequency and posting size/frequency use bandwidth. The amount you can use depends on how many vests/power you have. It's essentially spam protection. But it's a little off right now because of the recent rapid price decline. Just slow down your pace of voting/posting and you should be fine until you earn more SP.

YouTube videos will use more bandwidth than text and a photo.

Got it, thanks. I'll be more selective on the Utube snippets I borrow. :-)
