Vanuatu pass for sale - paid with bitcoin

Vanuatu is the first country in the world to pay for citizenship with bitcoin, reports Radio New Zealand.
Several countries offer different forms of investment for citizenship. In Vanuatu, which covers about 80 islands in the southwestern Pacific, it costs approximately 250000 dollar for up to four passports valid for four years.

Vanuatus Information Center, which administers this kind of citizenship, describes the islandation as a "beautiful, remote and tax-free tropical paradise." Holders of a Vanuatu passport can travel to 113 countries without having to apply for a visa, since Vanuatu is a member of the Commonwealth.
