CryptoChainer.com - service for fast synchronization

in #bitcoin7 years ago

How many of you use real wallets for crypto currency on your computer? Personally, I try to use online wallets, but not always there is such  an opportunity - for many not very popular crypto currency simply does  not have online purses, so you have to use ordinary ones that all look  alike, perform the same functions and look something like this:

And  of course, if you used such purses, then you should know how long the  purse synchronizes with the network for the first time. You need to download the history of the blocks from the network in a  few months, and often for several years, which usually takes a very long  time.

But there is a way to speed up the synchronization of the wallet with the network. There is absolutely free service - CryptoChainer.com.
This service allows you to download the archive with the history of  the blocks for a very large number of crypto-currencies (including for  BitCoin, although you need to ask for the download link from the admin,  because the archive is too big to upload to the site).

How it works?
1) Go to the site CryptoChainer.com.
2) Find the crypto currency you are interested in.
3) Download the archive with the history of the blocks for this crypto currency.
4) Extract the contents of the archive to a folder.
5) Go to the folder where you store information about your wallet. By default, this folder is C: \ Users \ _Name_Count_Record_ \ AppData \ Roaming \ _Currency Name.
6) Delete all files from the wallet folder except the purse file itself. It's called wallet.dat - it needs to be left. ATTENTION! Before deleting files, just make a backup copy.
7) Upload files to the wallet folder that you extracted from the archive in step 4).

All is ready. I  want to note that for many crypto currency synchronization files are  not up to now, but for example a week ago, in this case, wait until the  purse synchronizes the blocks for this last week will have to be in the  usual mode. But still, the synchronization of data for this last week will take quite a bit of time compared to several months.
