Day 221, 12-SEP-2017
The name which I chose to use on that platform is Tengo. For those who are interested, it is taken from a novel called 1Q84, which I found quite interesting and which I would like to thereby recommend.
I stumbled over crypto on 03-FEB-2017, which is exactly 221 days ago. At least this is the day when I bought my first fraction of a bitcoin, for exactly 100 EUR. Yes, this narrows down where I come from, it’s Germany.
To be honest, I needed the money to buy on a market where only BTC was accepted, so I got some BTC to spend it. As a matter of fact, it was not before day 63 or 2 months later when I actually dared to spend it, because it took me some time to install that TOR browser, and to get some VPN software. Moreover I googled that BTC was not quite as anonymous they tell you in the news so I had to also install a desktop wallet W1 and then second and third wallets W2 and W3. I moved the coins from the exchange to W1, then from W1 to W2, from there to a bitcoin tumbing service directly to W3. Therefore the wallet got the name “SafeWallet”, because it was so pretty damn safe. It probably was, until that later date in August when I sent the BCH from that private key to another wallet W4 (though it was more like W15 by then …). And since I was in such a hurry to get, move and sell my BCH - I was so pro core and UASF at that time LOL - I quite forgot about privacy and sent all available BCH to addresses which are now quite possibly traceable back to me without any kind of effort. Stupid mistake, but well if they really go to great lengths to track me down, they have my respect.
Well, this all sounds quite funny, but that’s not why I decided to start that blog. The thing is, that despite the fact I am still such a newbie in “the space” – today is my day 221 as already mentioned – I would like to share some information with others about the space. Because that’s exactly what bitcoin is all about. Nobody can prevent me from doing that.
Maybe nobody pays attention. Maybe all comments will tell me to just STFU. Well that’s ok by me. You you don’t like what I write, then just don’t upvote, go ahead, ignore or block me right away. You will regret blocking me later, but that’s another story. All others, stay tuned. For now I have to continue my 9 to 5 …
