There is little surprise that in today’s society, artificial intelligence is becoming more and more present in our lives, and as its presence increases, so does the need to control and guide it within the existing societal structures. As its nature is fluid, keeping it within limits proves to be difficult.
As real-life individuals, we learn by being in close proximity to other humans. As data-generated technology, machines learn by processing information. The larger the amount they compute, the smarter they are prone to become.
Machine learning is an application of artificial intelligence (AI) that provides systems the ability to automatically learn and improve from experience without the need of being programmed. This type of digital learning focuses on the development of computer programs that can access data, process it at great speed, and use it to learn for themselves, by synchronizing the pieces of information that are being shared in the system at a given time.
