Recently I found a section in 99Bitcoins titled Bitcoin Obituaries and thought I would share some of my favorite ones;

Shoutout to Gizmodo here for quality reporting, with statements such as bitcoin being effectively worthless and that a small group of elite control it you begin to wonder; did they actually bother to try it or look into it because anyone who actually took the time to do so would easily see how outlandish these claims actually are. Though yes exchanges are vulnerable to hacks attacks and tampering I have yet to see a major exchange just "collapse" just like that

This appears to fit into the same category as the last article; Maybe they didn't do their research/ maybe they're just another traditionalist group or organization that fears losing everything over bitcoin/ maybe they just don't understand either way this statement just leaves me speechless, just how does one get pyramid scheme from total decentralization? Also financial times BTC is projected to break $3000 in the near future, but I guess that was supposed to be in one of your "award wining" articles as I couldn't read the full thing.

/definitely not shelling out $4.79 on this crap/

This seems to be a recurring theme; ETH and BTC are both very different things with very different goals.
BTC is a currency while ETH is a platform yet the mainstream media fails to realize that; Also not every "innovation" requires a hardfork to function, Segwit for example requiring only the miner's adoption to function properly.

I mean Tor and the dark web exist; and BTC and other Cryptos like DASH and LTC are running perfectly fine I really don't know what to say to this, defacing a dollar bill is illegal but you can still do that pretty easily if you consider that "engineering" that is.
