The New 'Gold Rush'.
When bitcoin first came in 2009 it was less than 10 cents. After one year, 2010, it was still $0.07 per bitcoin. And everyone kept saying that it is going to fail/crash like all other digital currencies came before it e.g. Ecash, bit gold etc.
Articles, news and comments one after another that bitcoin will crash. to name some of the big players in financial arena who kept spreading negative comments about bitcoin…
DECEMBER, 2010 : The Underground Economist “Why Bitcoin can’t be a currency” –|btc price $0.23
JUNE, 2011: Forbes “So, That’s the End of Bitcoin Then” –|btc price $15.15
JUNE, 2013: NY Mag “Bitcoin Sees the Grim Reaper” –|btc price $105.70
AUGUST, 2013: Bloomberg View “The SEC Shows Why Bitcoin Is Doomed” –|btc price $93.57
NOVEMBER, 2013: Business Insider “Bitcoin Is A Joke” –|btc price $433.57
DECEMBER, 2013: Business Insider “Bitcoin Will Crash To $10 By Mid-2014” –|btc price $887.63
Despite all this negativity, bitcoin kept touching new highs every month to this date. To give you an idea I’m attaching charts below.
The first chart shows bitcoin price from 2013 till present day.
The second chart shows the trend from July 2017, this is where I entered the market and started searching and researching about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
A lot of people are speculating that bitcoin will reach $10,000 by the end of this year. Someone like John McAfee, the guy who created McAfee antivirus, went even further and predicted that in 2-3 years bitcoin will reach half a million dollar.
Chamath Palihapitiya a venture capitalist and an early adopter of bitcoin said “Bitcoin is Gold 2.0”
The point is, it is not too late to get onto the train and earn some money through this new “Gold Rush”. there are still so many coins which are undervalued and have the potential to be next Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH). You just need a little time to do some research, go through their website and find out the work they have already done and what they are planning to do in the future. A little investment could earn you some thousands, if not millions, in the future.
