My journey with cryptocurrency...

What is going on Steemit users this will be my first "real" post and I'm definitely going to start to post more attractive and interesting material following this post. I've been on Steem for a while now just really observing in the background and holding onto my Steem because I see the potential for exponential growth once more people understand the concept behind this website, and see how practical it can actual be in many different forms. 

Now I've unknowingly been interacting with cryptocurrency ever since Bitcoin was around $100... I remember a friend and I wanted explore the Silk road back in the day so we bought some from an online forum, got scammed, ended up getting our PayPal money back, and rebuying on the famous Coinbase. We bought a total of 1.3BTC..... If we cashed out before the recent correction that bitcoin had, we could've profited over $20,000.

Sadly, we had no idea we were even buying a type of money that could gain  value, let alone how much it did in such a short period of time. We were only 16 years old and had no idea... Recently, before I entered Steemit I invested in some ETH once I saw coinbase added something my college pockets could own. Still had no idea the potential these cryptos could have, so I bought 7 ETH for $150 , got scared and cashed out at around $280 per coin. I'd love to hear about others potential riches because this was extremely upsetting when it recently topped at near $800. 

  

These losses are minimal to the ones @jerrybanfield has taken, but Jerry keeps me in the game of crypto because he's taken many losses but have I never seen his Youtube slow down.
