DigitalOcean the Meltdown and Spectre Update

I woke up in the morning, and found that several masternodes were turned off. It seems that DigitalOcean had rebooted VPSs for Meltdown and Spectre patch last night. Meltdown and Spectre are serious CPU security errors, please update as described in this article.

After connecting to VPS as root, execute the following command:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

And reboot:
sudo reboot

After rebooting, confirm that the kernel is over 3.13.0-139-generic as shown the above figure when reconnecting VPS.

Run the monoeci masternode with the following command:
./monoecid

Finally, you have to restart the masternode in Windows wallet (start-alias).

아침에 일어나 보니 마스터 노드 몇 개가 꺼져있었습니다. 간밤에 DigitalOcean에서 멜트다운과 스펙터 패치 적용을 위해 리부트를 한 것 같습니다. 멜트다운과 스펙터는 CPU의 심각한 보안 오류이기 때문에 이 글의 절차대로 업데이트를 하시기 바랍니다.

VPS에 root 권한으로 접속 후, 다음 명령문을 실행합니다.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

그리고 리부트를 합니다.
sudo reboot

리부트 후, VPS 재접속시 위 그림과 같이 커널이 3.13.0-139-generic 이상인 것을 확인합니다.

다음 명령어로 monoeci 마스터 노드를 실행합니다.
./monoecid

마지막으로 윈도우즈 월렛에서 해당 마스터 노드를 재시작(start-alias) 하면 됩니다.
