UPDATE: CoinPayments.com was suggested below. It was an EASY install and config and I was up and running in minutes. It will work for almost all websites...not just WORDPRESS. PLUS THEY ACCEPT 65 different cryptos INCLUDING STEEM and SBD! Fee is only .5% and NO MONTHLY FEES. WE HAVE A WINNER!

I'm at the end of my rope trying to find a plugin for my wordpress website that will allow me to use BITCOIN for checkouts. I've tried multiple plugins and each ending in "NO WORKIE"

Listen, I'm a developer by trade so I know my way around code. I can usually install pretty much anything and adjust settings the way I need to. WEBMASTERS: WHAT ARE YOU USING?

I'd really like to find a plugin that will allow me to accept bitcoins for our website products.
WHAT I'VE TRIED:

1. SpectroCoin: They want a yearly merchant fee with middle man fees. Not interested. FAIL
2. Bitcoinway: Plugin hasn't been updated in 11 months. Lots of recent bad reviews. Tried to install and there was no place to put the Electrum wallet Master Key. FAIL
3. GOURL.oi: Registration on their website failed. They couldn't validate my website? WHAT? FAIL
4. Code Canyon: Bitcoin for Woocommerce hasn't been updated since Dec 2016 and has only 2 stars. Lots of bad reviews claiming it no longer works. FAIL
5. CRYPTOWOO: I haven't tried this one yet but they want a yearly fee of $34 for plugin updates and support Anyone else use them?
6. Coinbase: I have a coinbase wallet but this plugin was developed by a third party and not coinbase. Hasn't been updated in about a year. Tried to install, couldn't connect and get the API to link up. Has bad reviews. FAIL
7. Blockonomics: They basically charge you a monthly fee based on how many transactions you get. If not, they hold your BTC hostage until you upgrade. Looks like easy to install but you will pay a monthly fee.
8. Bitpay: Basic Merchant and will only transfer your bitcoin into FIAT daily. They require a 1% fee for over 30 transactions per month. The big downer here is they won't let you move your BTC to another wallet.

PLEASE HELP! WHAT ARE YOU USING FOR YOUR WORDPRESS WEBSITE TO ACCEPT BITCOIN FOR WOOCOMMERCE?
Instead of trying to install plugin after plugin in vain...I figured I would ask the STEEMIT community WHAT ARE YOU USING?

CoinPayments has some shopping cart plugins. I haven't used them because I have no online store but I see they have something for woo comerce. They also take over 50+ coins besides bitcoin, including steem, so your customers could pay with whatever cryptocurrency they happen to have.

That was excellent. Easy install and config. Low fee (.5%) and no monthly fees. Plus it goes straight to a wallet that I can move to any other wallet. no fuss. PLUS IT TAKES STEEM AND SBD! THANK YOU SIR!

That's good to hear it's easy to get going! My wife is starting an online business soon, so I'll have to figure out how it install it eventually. Glad to hear it will work for you.

They also have a customized QR code generator. I'm pretty sure you can either set the price/coin for each code to attach to physical products in a store or allow the customer to enter the amount and coin for use with tips, donations, etc. I've ran into a few online businesses that use CoinPayments and the payments always go through pretty fast (for bitcoin).

I've been looking at options all day and so far this is the best one I have found. I mean experience is the true test to we shall see if it holds true. I make a good amount of sales already over paypal so I'm hoping this will just expand my options. THANKS Again for your suggestion.

#CryptoWoo is awesome!

However, it does require special hosting requirements.

Wasn't able to use it with #WPEngine.

#Kinsta has been able to give me the setup required.

I know your frustrations, have you taken a look at https://chainpay.com/ ?

That looked interesting is 1%/per transaction a fair price?

I saw that and the 1% fee is doable but I'd really like to have any funds moved to an online wallet so that I can easily transfer them to buy things like more steem. ChainPay converts and puts the money in a US or UK bank account. Bitcoinway seemed promising because it would put the money into my Electrum wallet...but it looks like the plugin fell out of support and no longer works.

Things like this can be a real headache and you expect there to be a solution that would work!

I don't know enough to help, but I am interested to learn. Followed
