Jamie Dimon strikes again.

Despite announcing that he will refrain from commenting about cryptocurrencies, particularly bitcoin, Dimon slammed bitcoin believers and buyers once more.

At an event hosted by IIF, he said that bitcoin has no future, unlike the underlying technology known as blockchain, which is gathering many big financial players in various consortia.

"The blockchain is a technology which is a good technology. We actually use it. It will be useful in a lot of different things. Gold bless the blockchain."

These comments were made on the same day that bitcoin's price rose above $5,800 to hit a new all-time high.
