BTC Vs. ETH Value (Probably Not Safe For Experts)
(Please read using Frank Underwood's voice. It'll be more fun.)
King Kong Vs. Godzilla, Coke Vs. Pepsi, Batman Vs. Superman... BTC Vs. ETH... can't we all just get along?
I've read so many posts lately (here and elsewhere) talking about the differences in value (now and in the future) of Bitcoin and Ethereum. And why one should be more valuable than the other.
If you're new to the crypto arena, let me just tell you this much: Bitcoin is a monster, but ETH is it's own monster. They can live as good neighbors and they won't kill each other because they do very different things. Just do a quick search here on Steemit.com and you'll see there have been many articles addressing that. And yes, ETH (and maybe even a few others) will probably surpass BTC in Market Cap in the future; but remember to take into consideration that BTC has a limited amount of coins to EVER be minted, while ETH has no limit yet. So 1 BTC will probably always be more valuable than 1 ETH. So what? They BOTH have value. At the end of the day, I'd rather have a million dollars worth of... let's say... baseball bats, than a hundred dollars worth of gold.
So for all of you invested in this brave new world, just hold on to your hats and enjoy the ride. We are at the very beginning of the golden age of cryptocurrencies. And THAT my friends...is a beautiful thing!
