Early Bitcoin Investor GIVING 5,057 BTC {$86M !!!} TO CHARITY
Two days ago, an anonymous investor posted in the r/bitcoin subreddit.
He invested in BTC in the early days, the very early days, and his post tells his story of how he watched Bitcoin come all the way up. He admired the "triumphant moment ... when Bitcoin broke sinlge-digits for the first time", and kept watching through $15 and $25, and $30. "Wow!"
He's decided now to give a majority of his holdings away, forming a trust called The Pineapple Fund which will distribute a large portion of his wealth, some 5057 coins worth a total of more than $85,000,000, to various charities.

What he's doing is absolutely incredible; I'm sure that amount of money will change a lot of lives for the better. And just like Satoshi, we'll never know who he is.
I hope his story gets tons of publicity (though luckily, it's gotten some 18,900 upvotes on reddit already).
It's the sort of Pizza-day moment which could and should be remembered by the community as a legend from the early days of the wild crypto west.
