The world famous rap artist 50 Cent said that in his recent statement he was accepting payments with Bitcoin in the sale of his Animal Ambition album, which he released the best commercial decision a few years ago.

In June 2014, the price of a Bitcoin in dollar terms was about $ 660.The stage name is 50 Cent, the real name is Curtis James Jackson III, the artist then won 700 Bitcoins in sales.
At that time, the value was 460 thousand dollars and this gain was about 8 million dollars in this period.

I think we're going to see more and more celebrities dealing in cryptocurrency. Several high profile individuals have come out supporting the blockchains, even as "financial wizards" are speaking out against it.

Artists of any stripe in particular are likely to join in on cryptocurrency exchanges largely because generating income as an artist is actually really difficult. Having a more direct manner of income, which largely crypto is super direct, is way more appealing than the shenanigans that fiat payments create.

I may not listen to 50 Cent's music, but I am totally on board with his decision to start accepting crypto for his music.

I liked your thoughts. An interesting perspective. Thank you for sharing.
