Some people argue, wrongly, that we holders dont believe, that we only buy to later sell: speculation. But while that is a consideration its niave to think thats primarily what we holders of btc want from and believe about btc. Yes speculative gains are a part, but not the whole.

As you say we distrust the traditional financial system and understand btc can replace that and improve that system.

If more people understood that btc has a community which truly believes, not just speculates, people would begin to move over more rapidly. I think many nonbelievers fear btc because they think we holders will "trick" them to buy while we flee and never return.
