What I Watch - Korbit Acquired by Nexon, J-Coin, Value Of Bitcoin, Hard Fork: Bitcoin Gold
Today I watched several videos as ususal and present 3 of them here for you to check out.
First it's @boxmining's daily, with the most interesting parts being about Japan's J-Coin initiative and the surge in P2P crypto trading in China as a way of the citizens to get around the banned exchanges.
Second video is also by @boxmining where Michael tries to determine why Bitcoin is called "Digital Gold" and why people are willing to assign "value" to it. Nice crisp video, with the arguments providing material for debate.
Even though I do not like the style of "The Modern Investor" in particular, I added his video today because of the apparently coming Fork in bitcoin in October resulting in a 4th bitcoin named "Bitcoin Gold". I totally did not hear about this topic so far, so I got a bit intrigued and also a bit wary. I mean, if bitcoin is forked every odd 6 months or so, we kind of have inflationary tendencies as we have with fiat money, which kind of is the opposite of what bitcoin was supposed to represent.
Anyways, enjoy the videos!
