Of the 3.5 million downloads, I wonder how many people buy BCH when they were intending to buy BTC.

Website is bitcoin.com and then you click 'Buy Bitcoin' and then you choose between (1st option) 'Buy Bitcoin Cash (recommended)' vs 'Buy Bitcoin Core'

Seems deceptive.

In a sense people get what they deserve if they buy without really knowing what's going on. But I don't know.

I feel like there have to be lots of people who hear about "Bitcoin" through their friends or on the news, and don't know all the inner workings of how people have forked it and named it similar things. They just want to take a flyer on what they heard about. And because of your wallet, end up buying a different thing.

And some will realize what they did before it matters too much, but others might sit on it and one day incur loss because of the confusion.

(I can say copper is the real gold, whatever that means exactly. But it becomes problematic if I actually confuse them into buying copper when they were trying to get gold.)

p.s. Roger is a boss and I'm not a hater, I just think that setup is bad and could hurt some people.
