Confirmation from Vitalik Buterin that he indeed was going to work for ripple but had trouble getting a visa to the United States. This further solidifys both ethereum and ripples credibility.

What is amazing to me isn't that he wanted to work with ripple but the fact that he was denied a visa !!!
yeah, maybe it was destiny! because i am very glad that ethereum became his focus , ethereum has allowed people to do more with cryptocurrency like use it for smart contracts and to create their own coins with their own use case good example: METAL is built off the back of the ethereum network!

right! although the majority of the cryptocurrency world shades ripple since it is the "bankers coin" it has a clear use case and a great dev team that is constantly growing to new countries. I'm not surprised he wanted to get involved with the project. I'm happy though that ethereum was his main focus as it has enabled new currencies with new use cases to be created on the back of the ethereum network.
