5 cryptocurrencies to have in 2018!

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

So many choices, so little money to invest, which crypto should we choose?

Which cryptocurrencies will perform well in 2018? Let's find out my top 5!

BITCOIN

Never underestimate Bitcoin! I always make sure that BTC is at least 40% of my portfolio. Why? Simply because it's the largest one and once it gets going again, which seems to be coming real quick, everybody will FOMO like crazy! So BTC will have a great year again in 2018 especially if the Lightning network is enabled?

LITECOIN

Just a couple weeks ago, Litecoin had a great run starting at around 70$US and surpassed the 350$US mark. Now the coin went back down and seems to have stabilised around 250$US which i think is a great entry point for those who still don't own any! So much potential and so much room to grow that it is a sure bet if you ask me! Also, some rumors are spreading that LTC would be working on a partnership with Facebook, which would be HUGE!

ELECTRONEUM

Electroneum offer an all in one package for cryptocurrencies, where you can buy, exchange, safely store and even mine cryptocurrencies on any devices (read cellphone, tablet, computer, etc!). The app will make it easy for anyone to use cryptocurrencies. Their wallet is said to be unhackable when offline, which is great news for the safety of our coins! ETN is only available on small exchange platforms like Cryptopia, which a lot of people don't use, so the price will pump when a new exchange is announced! The team is currently beta testing the mobile mining system until January 12th.

BURST

Burst is one of the older coins, being around since 2014. Burst uses a different type of mining than other proof of work coins, it uses your hard drive's free space to mine transactions which results in much less electricity consumption than any other mining technology. This eco-friendly cryptocurrency will shine in 2018!

PARTICL

The last one but definitely not the least is Particl, dApp (decentralized app) that let's you easily and anonymously buy and sell items from peer to peer. I see it as eBay on the blockchain! The marketcap on this coin is still very low and the number of coins makes it easy for this coin to take value rapidly! Particl is a proof of stake coin which will make your assets grow without the need for trading! You should keep a close eye on this one!

I need to mention that this is just my humble opinion on the crypto world, not financial advice. Please always make your own research before investing!

I am actually new to the cryptocurrency world but i know that this is the currency of the future and i want to be a part of it. I am very interested in Litecoin. if indeed Facebook intends to use it for transactions then it is definitely a coin to own. Nice post.

Litecoin is a really interesting and promising cryptocurrency for sure! Hope you bought prior to yesterday and already got some profits!

Don't have the money yet

It's never too late to invest! If you are chasing a coin that's already pretty pumped, just make sure you set up stop losses!

OK. Thanks for the info.

Interesting choices. I certainly agree with the first two, except bitcoin is a lower percentage of my tokens. I have reservations about Electroneum. Burst and particl I have seen on the charts but know nothing about. Might have to look into them a little. Might I recommend pationtory. I did a profile on it a month or so back if you'd like to check it out

Bitcoin and Litecoin are staples of course! I tried to focus more on smaller cryptos with a lot of growth potential in 2018! On Particl's website they have a quick video that tells all, i find their idea really promising!
