My current Portfolio for 2018 - BTC, EXP, LTC, XRP, PIRL, MONA, ADA, XLM, OMG, POT, NEO, PIVX, STEEM, XFC
Current Portfolio for 2018, and there are lots of other good projects I am interested in but I only have so much time to buy and safely store cryptocurrencies and tokens.
Bitcoin (BTC) - Should have a higher value in 2018 and is needed for trading anyway. I will guess 27k ATH for 2018, I think that is rational and not pie in the sky dreaming. Lightning Network should do the trick.
Expanse, (EXP) - The project I work on, the first stable ETH fork. We have our "killer dapps" all launching in 2018 so it should be much higher later (imho). We are on the Ledger Hardware wallet, and have lots of impressive partners like Microsoft Azure, and the project is still underpriced compared to most.

Litecoin, (LTC) - One of the only options on Coinbase and it had a more fair launch than most other coins, and right now is a much better currency than Bitcoin Cash, and it always will be as it has Segwit.
Ripple (XRP) - It did hit my target price as I said it would hit $1+ in 2018, but with the strong possibility of it being added to Coinbase I bought back in a bit as it would likely go 4x in value if it does hit Coinbase. Good enough odds to hold some even at this price.
Pirl (Pirl) - This is a new ETH fork, and I know all about ETH forks as I work on one. Competent team, low price, and it will have master nodes. As long as they pull it off should go much higher.
Mona (Mona) - This was my pick from years ago, and it is still good for the same reasons. It has real world use and they are using it in Japan. People buy things with it, now, it is very localized to Japan, but Japan is extremely pro crypto. Monacoin also has lots of fiat purchases in Japan giving it more safely than many other Alts. Demand is real.
Cardano (ADA) - Buying this for the same reason as Mona, has lots of Japanese investors and some call it the “Japanese Ethereum” - it is made to fix the flaws with ETH and be an ETH competitor by one of the original ETH founders.

Stellar Lumens (XLM) - By the creator of Ripple that split off for ideological reasons, it is an alternative version of Ripple and partnered with IBM. Should go higher with the success of Ripple, and generally a good idea to hold both if you are going to hold one of them
Omisego (OMG) - The entire ETH team is on the advisory board and the project has strong backing and potential in Asia and the rest of the world.
Potcoin (POT) - Almost guaranteed to skyrocket at 420, but people will buy months in advance so better to get in before the rest of the people realize 420 is coming. This is the first and the best of the Weedcoins.
Neo (NEO) - Antshares is an old pick of mine, I have my doubts about a China Coin as China is negative on crypto, but people are bullish on it and if China goes positive, then Neo will take off. Worth a small bet, but not a sure thing at this price. (I just have a few)
Pivx (Pivx) - One of the few privacy coins that is not insanely overpriced and that still has a shot. Huge community, pretty much the best Alternative version of Dash.
Steem (Steem) - I just blog on Steemit now and then and hold whatever little Steem I earn. Steemit is the most used cryptocurrency, so based on Network effect it is therefore undervalued. Also, it is the only social media crypto people really use, that is a solid edge in the long run.

XFCCOIN (XFC) - I admit I bought this ICO for a quick flip but it turned into a very long term hold based on delays of exchange additions. The starting market cap is only 1 million USD though, so if it does well, it will do very well. Football is also quite popular around the world.
Tokenlab (LAB) - This is a project I work on built on Expanse, check out the White Paper I helped write if you are curious about it. We are partnering up with a Decentralized Exchange so that every project launched on Tokenlab will be on an Exchange if they so wish it.
After posting this in one of my crypto communities several members suggested Icon (ICX), looks really good so picked some up as well.
I agree. If Icon hit a quarter of their targets/projects they're going to be a monster.
Might be interesting indeed, although price has gone up already insanely since ICO though...
Great picks! I would add WGR, PASC and ZCASH! I am going to pick up most of these ASAP, I have been bullish on all the privacy coins and NEO when it was cheaper, EVERYONE BUY! CHEERS!
Do you have any opinion about XVG Would you consider it?
I know the dev and bought TONS of it back at 1 sat, even recommended it, but sold early. I mined it, traded it, recommended it, but made the mistake of not holding it long enough.
Many thanks for sharing your portfolio holding.
XVG has a huge community and set up to move forward as one of the main privacy coins in 2018. Also check out NAV coin, Zcoin, and Solaris (XLR)
Great picks... what do you think about TFL? Cause I've been watching it and for me it is one of the best performing ICO's (in terms of work done)
Please guide about future prospects of Potcoin, XFC, and Pirl. What is the meaning of "420" in Potcoin.
JC has always been an expert at picking undervalued cryptos...
Upvoted you :)
That was goof for 2017 for 2018 I think you need change several things.
Interesting picks! We have quite some overlap. Personally I am not so sure about Potcoin since their Github is not updated for the last 2 years..https://github.com/potcoin/Potcoin/commits/master
Btw, do you use a specific approach when it comes to the relative weights of the coins you have in your portfolio? Maybe you can let me know what you think about my approach. Would appreciate it :-)
