A beginers story in cryproland
I want to share my crypto experience with the newcomers.
Although its only been around 3 months in cryptoland i have learnt a lot, i want to tell you about my biggest mistakes so hopefully you can benefit from them.
I got into crypto when it was just going up every day, I thought it was impossible to lose money and often dreamt about buying a house with cash and maybe a holiday home in spain with a rangerover on the driveway THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED.
I started with £150 and soon doubled it so i added another £500 as the more money you invest the easier it is to make money.
Heres where it all went wrong.
I started buying shitcoins for bigger gains, i was always looking for the 100% in one day instead of slow and steady, I exchanged 100 antshares ( which i really beleive in ) for a shitcoin i cant even remember the name of, I lost 40% of my portfolio in 5 minutes, I didnt stop there as i desperately thought i can make this back with another shitcoin, which turned out to be a bot !
Everytime i swapped coins i could pretty much garantee the coin i bought would plummet and the other one would suddenly go to the moon.
Now i only invest in tokens i beleive in, i will buy £100 at a time and forget about them. I may have the odd £10 gamble for fun but i see this the same as a casino.
This is personal opinion and probably controversial to some as there no eth but here are my top 5 im sitting on.
Bitcoin
Antshares
EOS
litecoin
ARK
You will probably read this and still make the same mistakes as i did but i think its something everyone needs to go through to learn. Also dont spent too much time checking your portfolio as it can become obsessive.
I follow a few youtubers but also failed to take their advice. I would recommend
Crypr0 - very imformative, down to earth
kenn Bosak - funny and enthusiastic
Ameer Rosic - Knows the industry
Node investor - Good for chart predictions
I used to follow an unamed british youtuber with a large following but hes blatently sold out. hes now hyping shitcoins and obviously pumping and dumping.
If you are new then i would advise you to stay away from yobit and cryptopia when you start, they look amazing with their 1000% gains but its usually a bot trap. Stick to poloniex and bittrex.
I hope this helps someone
Good tips, i would recommend spreading around the top 10 cryptos - read the white papers understand what the real world use for all these coins/tokens are and if you believe in it then go for it,buy a little at a time and if you find yourself buying at the top dont sell when it crashes, HODL it will come back if not today if not tomorrow but soon ;)
