What Will Happen After We Have Mined ALL The Bitcoin?
Hi guys, this is Coin Girl and this video is about Bitcoin.
I know I have talked about what Bitcoin is but let’s talk about how much Bitcoin we’ve mined so far and what it means for its actual and future users.
As I mentioned before, Bitcoin is a finite good of a total of 21million units, to be generated until 2140. After all of the Bitcoin has been discovered by the miners there will be no more Bitcoin mining.
The truth is that there might be less Bitcoin on the market due to forgotten or lost wallets.
How much have we mined so far?
We know that 1million Bitcoin have been mined and unspent or moved by Satoshi Nakamoto, dating the early days of Bitcoin.
This month we will have mined 80% of the total Bitcoin, that means 16,522,800 BTC. That leaves us with 4million coins to stretch over 122 years...
Watch the video and see some of the theories circling around of what might happen after we have mined all the Bitcoins. By all means, you are welcomed to share your opinion.
I will lve to know the answer to that question too.
True that!
Good question. They sometimes keep forking/multiplying it, though, right, which increases the amount?
