The Post-Futures State of Bitcoin: Day #24
Today is Tuesday January 2, 2018
Bitcoin reached a high today of $15,444.60, and a low of $13,163.60. The price was $15,240.30 by end of day, a 12.73% gain over 24 hours.
Bitcoin has been riding above the Moving Average Exponential today, picking up value it had lost in prior days as it broke out of the long triangle it has been forming.
Bitcoin Still has a long way to go if it wants to regain it's past market dominance. In my opinion, that is not likely to happen in the near future, given just how strong some newer blockchain projects have become.
CNBC got to the top of the Google search again, this time with a much less FUD ridden article called E-Trade begins CME bitcoin trading as of Tuesday evening.
There was not much to say, other than to announce that E-Trade began allowing CME Bitcoin Future trading as of 6PM Eastern Standard Time today.
E-Trade have already had Bitcoin Futures from Cboe since December 21, 2017, so this addition may spice up the action there.
Giving out free votes to the little guys, I hope you appreciate.
