WARNING! New Ransomware attack: Bad Rabbit spreads across Europe

A new mass ransomware attack is spreading very quickly around Europe. 200 major organizations in Germany,Russia, Ukraine and Turkey are already infected. This attack called “Bad Rabbit” is ransomware which demands 0.05 bitcoins (around $300) for ransom from victims to unlock their computers. ESET has labeled this malware as Win32/Diskcoder.D as a new variant of Petya ransomware. The initial analysis provided by Kaspersky Labs, the ransomware is distributed by drive-by download attacks with fake installers of Adobe Flash player. Stay safe!
