My thoughts on altcoins......advice for noobs

in #bitcoin7 years ago

A friend of mine asked me this question, "In 10 years can they continue to all exist? With that many speculation development teams, at what point do you draw the line and say, this is not going to work anymore?,or is it the new stock market for millennials since the younger generation has a hard time trusting the stock market ?"

And my answer is and will always be!

The cryptocurrency buble is very similar to .com bubble in the 90s. Best handful of projects will change the world and return xx,000%+ on investment.

Rest will die.

So choose well. Long term good bets are BTC, LTC, XMR, ETH and perhaps (?) a few other platforms (neo, lisk, waves, iota, nem, stratis, qtum, ... ? and few coins (dash, pivx, ..., ripple even if I hate them).

Then you have the real products that already do something you can use - SIA, storJ for the cloud, CVC for the identities, wetrust or salt for p2p lending, golem for earth supercomputer, omg for exchanging, factom, aragon, ark, komodo, .... particl for anonymous markets, ... status as a dApps register.... There is soo much innovation. Lots of it will fail.

Nobody knows. Choose well. Enjoy the game. Do not invest too much.
