Bittrex disable Bitcoin wallet (deposit and withdrawal) amid scaling debate

Bittrex a US based digital currency exchange according to a notification seen on it bitcoin wallet section last night has disabled it bitcoin wallet until August 1st or whenever BIP 91 issues are resolved.

The notification reads as follows

"Bitcoin wallet disabled until after BIP-91 is settled. https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000761392"

Trader have been advised to get their bitcoin to a cold wallet or wallet where they can hold their privates key during the segwit implementation process, now Bittrex traders can only trade their bitcoin to other cryptocurrencies but can't get it out.

Other exchanges might implement such measures in the coming days which I believe will have a manipulative effects on the price of bitcoin. This is an interesting time in bitcoin history and am hopeful everything get resolved without a split
