Richard Heart: Bloxpo in Sweden
Richard Heart debated with Swedish politicans at Bloxpo. He made an interesting statement that I'd like to discuss with you:
«If the blockchain stays in the digital world, its trustworthy und awesome! [...] As soon as you are trying to touch the real world with your blockchain project, it stops being useful. Because the guy who converts the date in the real world to tell the computer what's going on, that guy lies.»
And he went on to say that if you want to trust this guy anyway that he's not lying, we can use the existing centralized system right away. Blockchain only solves trust in a purely digital domain. If you touch the real world, its completely useless.
What do you think? What are your thoughts on that? What could be solutions to apply blockchain in the right world? Is blockchain only good for cryptocurrencies?
