Several arrested people in Venezuela for criptomining but.. why ?

""In 2016, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro briefly enforced a strict electricity rationing program in 2016 as a severe drought diminished its ability to produce hydroelectric power."

And the reason of why the police of Venezuela put you un jail for mining is:

"These people were accused of committing cyber fraud and power theft."
Yes, people is arrested and jailed for more than three months at the beginning of 2016 on charges of electricity theft.

So now Venezuela is following the Bolivarian socialism is doing. It has made electricity artificially cheap at which point people do things which thrive on cheap electricity. So then they come along and arrest the people doing
In this case criptomining💻🔌
what they’ve just encouraged them to do by making electricity cheap.

This is only an analysis of the allegations made in arresting the miners and their relationship with the normative corpus of Venezuela. However, it is also worried, from a legal perspective, that the Ministry of the Interior and Justice has made public the continuation of their persecution of users of a digital asset that is not punishable by any law, through the following statement:In addition, research continues in various parts of the country to weaken cryptocurrency.

Ministry of People's Power for Interior Relations, Justice and PeaceIf, instead of pursuing persecutions, the Venezuelan State recognized the usefulness of these innovative payment services, as their ideological counterparts in japan.
The benefit would be general, since even the State would eliminate the cost of print money.
