I hate to sound like an idiot, but I'm new here, and I've never even used Discord.
You should try it out.. Don't stay away from discord. All the good people of steemit are in Discord.
I clicked a link for it the other day, but it said that I didn't have an 'invite.' I love Steemit, have a lot of free time on my hands, and I'd like to be a part of Discord also.
