“One of the most exhilarating experiences of my trip to New Zealand was hiking the Lake Marian Track with Jay to the lake at the top it is named for. The reward for reaching the end was spotting these two blue ducks making their way across the surface. I was proud of my animal ID abilities here as none of the other hikers resting at the top seemed to agree these were indeed blue ducks, but the proof is in the picture. Furthermore, Billy Madison (the Adam Sandler movie) is my favorite comedy film and if you’ve seen it, you can imagine seeing a real, live blue duck was pretty special for me.”
