Neighbor's big bird

The ostrich of the neighbor is a very sweet guy.
In fact, it is of course a couple. But only the one of them comes to greet me every time I go out on the street.

Should I mention that I think this is the male bird? 😄

He is very curios, friendly and communicative. As I said, he always comes to greet me.
Together with his friend - the neighbor's dog.

They both are friends with our cats 😃 (yet this is topic for a next post).

I call him 'Big Bird', because I don't know his real name if he has one.
And I always talk to him.
And he sometimes smiles to me. You know how these big birds smile, don't you?
