BINANCE HACKED?!

Earlier today around 4:00 GMT a massive spike in via coin caused a lot of controversies and sparked rumors of binance being hacked,

scrolling through the redit posts and hundreds of people are reporting there funds have been liquidated into bitcoin and sold off or withdrawn from there accounts despite having 2FA enabled! ( don't panic )..

Binance was NOT hacked

just a few hundred customer's accounts that used API KEYS and had trading bots linked to there accounts
was compromised and as a result, a mass sell-off from BNB TOKEN was used to pump VIA coin 890% before it sharply fell back to an 84% gain over satoshi value

waiting to hear from binances official twitter and telegram to confirm this but its safe to say no hack has occurred
