Yes - if you want to maintain crony-capitalism with fractional reserve lending while killing off the lower classes. Its a slow death, so not many will complain.
No - The bandaid will have to be ripped off. People will have to start doing real work creating real goods, but in the end, we will probably all work less than 20 hours a week, AND everyone will grow their own food.
Not necessary.
People are thinking about it completely wrong.
I can guarantee that Universal Basic Income will be come and can also guarantee that it will come sooner than most people think.
By leveraging the asset that gives them a roof over their head will be the very underlying asset that a Public Quantitative Easing Program would be secured against.!!
It's not rocket science, it's just common sense.

I too am fairly sure that UBI will be here soon.
Because the Banksters want to keep their money printing ponzi scheme going. And the only way forward is UBI.
And this will end with everyone's roof being owned by a central "something".
No one will have free will. No one will be allowed to be self sufficient.
And thus, it will collapse as all tyrannies collapse.
Do we want to pull the bandage off slowly or quickly?
