Its no secret that when a whale votes every other vote on the platform goes down in value.
Those bidbot whale sized votes you are bitchslapping the rest of us with are killing the network effect we need to be adopted as a currency.
Everytime you pay a thug to take your rewards from the redfish that are testing the waters you slow steem's adoption.
How are we going to get the unbanked to use steem as their bank when you make it impossible for them to get a few cents for posting?
Why would they adopt steem when the minds token is rewarded to them without fear of it being bullied away from them?
Those 1000sbd posts represent thousands of redfish with payouts that round down, if they register at all.

Someone on this platform who I respect uses bid bots to give other folks a better vote than she could alone. I think in that particular situation a bid bot can be a good thing. All that said, I haven't paid for one myself at this point.
Yes, if they were used more to do that it would mitigate some of the evil of their abuse.
They could require rewards be declined, too.
