Mobile phone is currently the most used gadget the world. It is used by both kids and adults due to the fact that it is of a cheaper rate and can be easily afforded. It has been confirmed that most kids are now addicted to the use of mobile phone and as such beginning to neglect the use of library and pay less attention to their studies.

Social Media on its own part have really helped people to communicate with each other in a very fast and easy way. Recently all social media are now being misused mostly by our children because they now spend almost all their whole day on social media.

Limiting of children to the use of social media does not curse any harm to them, rather it makes them more of themselves. Social media of today has made many children feel intimidated most especially when they see their age mates living a wealthy lifestyle, taking photos in expensive places, shopping at top malls. When children are focused on watching most of these people, it then leads them to depression. Parents should help their children limit the use of social media because it leads to depression.

Parents should teach their children how to spend time interacting with their fellow human in a physical way than spend time interacting on social media. It also helps in limiting children’s usage of social media.

Parents should try to give their children specific time they can use in operating their phone, as well as give them time to study and rest. This also helps them limit the way they use social media.

Thanks for reading and I hope this little piece help parents to guide their children of the use of social media.

Please you can add other ways parents can help their children limit the usage of social media.
