👰🏽 A monochromatic wedding portrait...

In my book - long wedding days are a good thing. Because that means we have more time to get creative, take our time and smell the roses.

In this case we were able to take our time and use the strong light coming in from the window to create a clean white background. I created 3 versions of this image: one in color, black and white and sepia (the one you’re looking at now). I love the nature of monochromatic images as it adds a sense of drama.

Camera Settings:
NIKON D700 1/30s ƒ/2.8 ISO400

Turns out I didn't save a color version. At the time I didn't save my raw files and when I was done with a wedding, I'd export as a jpeg as a final master.

Nowadays I keep the raw files. All that being said here's the black and white version:
