Why Your Belief in You is More Important Than Ever
"Believe in You!" is one of my favorite sayings. It has become something of a mantra for me as I seek to live a life that is filled with happiness and meaning. This saying has been engraved on my soul and carried with me since I can remember.
To believe is to have faith in what you want or need. Faith is not always easy to find, but when you are searching for something that you want the best of all worlds, you must first believe that you can have it. That's the bottom line!
I know this might seem trite, but in order to truly believe something, you must first feel it. Have you ever felt like everything was going your way? Like the wind was blowing in your favor? If so, then you have discovered belief. When you believe you will receive whatever it is you want, you are on your way to believing. Believing is the way to go when you want things to work out for you.
People often ask me why I believe in myself. They want to know if I am just dreaming all the time, or if I really do have an answer to the question above. The answer is simple: Yes! I do have an answer to that question, and it is a matter of how I choose to look at things. There are many different ways to look at things, but if you choose to believe that you can create whatever it is you desire, then you will believe!
People tend to think that they can only believe in themselves. Some even have a hard time believing in themselves because they feel their goals are unattainable. I do not believe this is true. It is true that you cannot achieve your goals in a day, week, or even in a year - but that you can achieve your goals by keeping your mind focused on what it is you want to create.
You have to begin by dedicating yourself to making a decision to move forward. Once you have made this decision, you must then begin the process of building your belief in yourself. Believe in yourself first, and everything else will follow. Remember, there are no quick fixes here; just make sure you are always working toward your goals!
Some people like to see their goals as a physical representation. They want to know exactly what they want to create before they even start. This is a mistake though! Creating is taking action, which is exactly what your mind needs to see to believe in you!
The last thing that people really need to do when they are building their belief in themselves is to look for support. I have noticed that when I am not following through with my goals or keeping to my word, people are not pulling for me. They will not encourage me because they do not see what difference I will make. When I have faith in myself, I know I can do it alone. You will see results differently depending on who you are, but building your belief is very important!
