Biman Biman Bangladesh is being moved to the airport of India
The authority has removed a Bangladeshi plane lying in an airport in Central India for one and a half years from one parking lot to another. It has been learned that this action has been taken because the airline owner United Airways is unlikely to receive any fees due.
bimanThe plane has been removed from the runway of Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur, capital of Chhattisgarh on Friday (July 20th).
Airport manager Rakesh Saha of Raipur Airport said, "United Airways (Bangladesh) has more than 60 lakhs owing to its parking fees. But despite repeated requests, they did not pay the fee, even the aircraft did not show any cure.
The incident took place almost three years ago on August 7, 2015. On that day, the United Airways flight (UBD 321), carrying the Oman masked United Airways flight from India, was forced to take an emergency landing at Raipur airport when the mid-sky was hit by mechanical errors. It is known that from the sky, a part of the engine of the plane was opened in a place called Bemetra, in the field of cultivation.
United Airways pilot is seeking permission for emergency landing at the nearby Raipur airport. At the time of the plane, there were 165 passengers on board, including passenger and aircraft crew. The aircraft landed safely with them. Later, arrangements were made to send all the ascendants of the plane to another destination.
But the mechanical defective plane had fallen from that side on one side of the runway of Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur. Meanwhile, United Airways officials have visited several times, but there is no arrangement for the plane to be taken back.
In the meantime, the bus service has increased in Raipur. More than a year ago, there was a lot of airplane fluctuations. But there was a difficulty in possession of a parking space in a bunker plane, says the airport authorities. After this, they decided that the abandoned aircraft will be removed from the parking lot to the unused location at the western end of the airport.
Indian Airport Authority of India (AAI) supervises the entire process of moving the aircraft. Under the supervision of Raipur airport manager RAIPORE, Indian Air India engineers and technicians completed the operation to remove the aircraft.
When the aircraft was removed on Friday noon, two representatives of United Airways, named Enayet Hossain and Shuvankar Banerjee, were also present. One of them is Assistant Engineer (Engineering) and another is the Assistant General Manager in Calcutta.
But no such statement was received from the airline authorities in Bangladesh about why the plane has not been withdrawn so long.
