Thank you Appaji! This is one of my most favorite Datta Maata stories.
It gives excellent advise on how to conquer bad thoughts and where they come from.
It also explains one of the most difficult moment to comprehend in Ramayana - why did Rama had to kill Valli in such a strange way, hiding behind the tree...
But when the tree is God, arrows are stories about the Lord, like Srimad Bhagavatam, they will make the mind to forget all bad thoughts, because you just can not stop thinking about Paramantma anymore!
