A Timeless review, of a pint or two
I checked out a new Brewery in Lakewood (right behind Long Beach Airport, where I play hockey) called Timeless Pints. I didnt have time to drink there, so I took a 4 pack sampler home. Check out these gorgeous bottles. If their beer is as good as their artwork, they will win a top place in my heart!
The beers were very good. Not quite stellar, but intriguing enough for me to go back and try more. It definitely has potential. Their Red IPA won a silver medal at a competition (I forgot which one sorry). Its so hoppy it makes you go "whoa" after a long draught. A little too much for me but I think most IPA fans will really like it.
As you can see, there are lovely anecdotes on each beer. Here is the one for the Red:
Nice head on each pour! For me, the clear winner of the day was the honey blonde...I definitely have to go back for more of this. The Amber was quite good too.
All in all, not a bad place. The brewery itself is quite small, with just one small bar and a few tables. Its probably more of a place to take your growler and bring home some beer. The bottles were too expensive to make it a habit ($4.50 each), but the lovely artwork did make it better. I felt sorry throwing the bottle in the recycling after enjoying the bottles.

upon further reflection, I've been thinking about that honey blonde ale for days now. I definitely have to go back and get more of that one. It was my favorite by far. something about the lingering aftertaste of it.
