Cosmetics, Chemicals and Cancer
Cosmetics, Chemicals and Cancer:
Did you know there is lead in most lipsticks and mercury in most mascaras!? Did you know that cancer-causing phthalates, banned from use in children’s toys, are one of the most common ingredients in many skin products? Did you know the FDA has no regulatory control over cosmetics companies, and allows them to decide their own safety standards? They don’t even have to fully label ingredients! Please do yourself and your loved ones a favor today by checking the health risks of the personal care products you use at CosmeticsDatabase.com or SafeCosmetics.org, and sharing this video with everyone you can.

Thanks for verifying your account, Eric :)
Interesting topic. I really struggle to see most of this as anything other then the mass poisoning of humanity, for short term profits. Resteemed your post, good luck :)

They poison anything & everything! I am just beginning to realize how bad it is.
And the recent massive payout from Johnson and Johnson for their baby powder! ?- yes - BABY powder. ( ovarian cancer ).
The corporations only have one motivation, and it has nothing to do with looking after the consumer !
For those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. Thank you for sharing this post. One rule I stick by is "if I can't eat it, then I can't wear it". This helps eliminate alot of the garbage out there. If they say not safe for consumption, then when we put it on our bodies, do our bodies, our skin, not absorb these things?? Sure they do.
That's a great rule to stick by!
Thanks for sharing this important information.

Thanks for the useful links. As a mother, I am trying to keep some of this harmful stuff away from my kids. We're buying hand-made soap from local producers, sometimes make moisturizers out of natural ingredients, but it is very hard.
