Mustang place
Mustang is a beautiful place. It is located in Dhawalagiri zone of northern Nepal This place has covered an area of 3573 km square and it has a population (2011) of 13452. This place's main occupations is agriculture and animal husbandry. This place is the second least populated district of Nepal. It is flanked by the Nepalese districts of Manang, Annapurna and Nilgiri mountain range are extended across the north in two parts i.e. Uppry mustang and Lower Mustang. Upper Mustang is famous for adventurous trekking and the lower Mustang is famous for natural.
Upper Mustang is mostly famous for adventures sports such as trekking, climbing, cycling, rock climbing, horse racing and riding. It is stride with mountain ranges such as Annapurna and Nilgiri range.
Muktinath temple is the attraction of mustang. This temple is the holy place for Hindus and Buddhists. It is one of the holy places among four 'Dhams" of Hindu holy places being located in the mountain region. 108 water taps and nonstop glowing fire is the attraction of temple.
