Stormin' Up The Shore - #BeachWednesday
Stormin' Up The Shore
These pictures were taken as a storm was brewing in Bayview. The clouds rolled in from the land side and began to blanket Long Island Sound with darkness. This particular storm yielded some exciting lightning strikes although I did not capture any bolts with my camera.
Suprisingly, the water was rather calm when the storm rolled through. Usually storms bring along high winds and rough seas, but not this one. It was cool how the dark clouds formed a straight line as the crept across the sea. The storm itself was short and didn't cause any damage besides ruining a sunny day at the beach.
Sometimes its appeasing to just sit and watch the darkness envelope what used to be a beautiful day.
The storms they will come, but the sun will rise again another day.
Happy #BeachWednesday
Where's your beach?
