My first experience with a basketball

Have you touched a basketball before? When was that? I can still remember the first day I touched a basketball, I was less than 12 years old then and the ball was very big in my hands because my hands were so small then. It all happened in my cousin's house few years ago when my family and I went to visit them during the Christmas break.

I didn't expect to see a basketball in their house that day but before we started eating two of my cousin brothers decided to show my siblings around the big compound and we were excited to explore around. We saw basketball and I remembered I kicked it like a ball at the beginning 😂. My luck was that the basketball wasn't fully pumped because if it was I would have hurt my small legs.

My cousins showed my younger brother and I how the ball is being used, they bounced it and threw it towards the net which was just one. We started playing the basketball and it was almost bored for me because I was just used to football then. I was so convinced that I will get used to it but after that day I didn't touch basketball till the next 5 years.

The net was so high for me then, though is still high for me now because am not a tall guy but luckily am very good in jumping high, you just need some special daily hip and leg workouts for you to be able to jump very high. Basketball is an exciting game but alot of people love football more. I play football just for fun and nothing else but whenever there's a tournament and am called out to play defence am always available because I love competitions I always love to see myself working hard to achieve something.
