While teams can't officially set up meetings until Friday, the Suns are expected to visit Clippers star Blake Griffin on Saturday in Los Angeles .
When the Clippers traded Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, many wondered what that meant for former teammate Blake Griffin, who will reportedly opt out of the final year of his deal with Los Angeles to become a free agent.

Per Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times: Phoenix can offer the five-time All-Star a max contract of four years and $130 million.
ESPN's Ramona Shelburne reported the Clippers were "focused" on retaining Griffin after the Paul deal.

Phoenix has intriguing young talent, including Devin Booker and TJ Warren, to build around. Griffin would bring a star presence and playoff experience with him to a franchise in desperate need of a cornerstone player to speed up the rebuilding process.
