in #banking7 years ago

We usually hear short-sighted mistakes in banking transactions. Even in some of us it has happened. It is not unusual to be so in the huge banking system. However, if someone mistakes about 50 billion rupees into one account, then the eye is on the forehead. Recently, such incidents happened in Germany's Dutch bank Egie. The bank wrongly handed over 600 million dollars to a customer, which is about 46,666 crore taka in Bangladeshi currency.

This happens in June this year. During the transaction, the bank's boss was on holday. But the next day it was able to rescue it.

The Financial Times quoted two officials of AG Bank, who said that huge amount of money was transferred to the Federal Reserve, European Central Bank (ECB) and the UK Financial Authority. This mistake was noticed when making the gross figure of the bank.
